At cyan, we are looking for a passionate Go-to-Market & Monetization Manager in charge of leading the monetization efforts and revenue-driving strategies of our security portfolio across different industries. In this exciting role, you will be the expert and main point of contact regarding all Go-to-Market related activities for specific designated accounts, performing as the link between the partner and the cross-functional internal teams at cyan (including Monetization, Tech, Sales and Product Development). The main goal of the role consists in helping our customers succeed with our solutions, translating their business needs into actionable points and engaging with them before, during and after launching their services with us. In addition, you will be able to propose new marketing initiatives, experiment and optimize existing tactics that can potentially deliver better revenue and market positioning results.


  • Lead the monetization strategy initiatives for 2-3 specific accounts, from market research, service concept, creative implementation, testing and post-launch performance analysis.
  • Structure a sound G2M/marketing plan in cooperation with the partner, consulting them in the definition of communication channels, operational launch of the campaign, establishing KPIs and dedicated meetings (QBRs) to challenge results and possible optimization activities.
  • Identify, monitor, and prioritize optimization opportunities to accelerate penetration rates, generate sustainable growth, reduce churn rates, and enable strategic outcomes via monetization strategies (e.g. upselling, cross-selling, digital campaigns, POS positioning, A/B testing, etc.)
  • Evaluate performance of all campaigns against KPIs and revenue specific goals, as you execute monetization initiatives that will encourage the consumers of the solution to engage with the existing/new service of your account.
  • Possibility to explore new revenue-driving activities, presenting and defending them in front of the partner, explaining how they can leverage their launched solutions better to drive in more return


  • 2+ years of experience as Monetization Manager, Performance Marketing, Marketing Manager, CRM or Product Marketing Manager (in the online industry as a must)
  • Experience building robust marketing plans and broader GTM strategies optimizing enterprise offers, digital marketing initiatives, mobile app promotion, etc.
  • Previous experience with performance Marketing initiatives including campaign planning, execution and optimization.
  • Demonstrated success and passion for collecting and using customer insight to drive strategic GTM and/or packaging decisions
    • Strong verbal/presentation skills in the context of partner-facing activities
    • Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Google analytics
    • Experience operating in a cross-functional work environment with a history of making impact.
    • Strong English written/verbal communication skills (German or other languages desired)
    • A “get things done” attitude and passion for working in a fast-paced startup-like environment

Nice to Have

  • Methodological approach for data together with the ability to present the data clearly and efficiently to support business decisions.
  • Experience with Facebook Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ad and Content Marketing.
  • Knowledge with tracking tools and Display Ads (firebase, google tag manager, etc.).
  • Affinity and/or experience with UX/IU Design, product conceptualization.
