cyan wants to hire an experienced sales and account management professional to join the endpoint segment within the EMEA region. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a startup environment of growth and energy – someone with a self-start attitude.

Ideally, you will bring experience selling software solutions in a B2B2C approach with a clear contract closing attitude. You know how to clearly position value added services as a business opportunity first and can also explain a tech product’s features. In addition, you have already handled coordinating inter-disciplinary teams and lead small teams through the sales process. Someone with experience selling cyber security solutions would be plus but not mandatory. You are a data-driven and actionable personality with a clear customer-focus.

Your roles & responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and executing against the overall sales strategy of the territory, working with engineering, support and marketing
  • Establishes short and long-term goals plus a plan in line with corporate objectives
  • Sells products to new and/or current customers in an assigned region to achieve or exceed assigned plan
  • Contacts prospected customers to determine product needs and aligns with sales development
  • Prospects and develops business, develops proposals for presentation to customers
  • Owns the customer relationship end-to-end and coordinates different phases and supporting teams however remaining the single point of contact for the customer
  • Coordinates account resources with representatives from other teams
  • Remains knowledgeable of all cyan products to facilitate sales effort
  • Maintains sales records/the CRM tool and prepares sales reports as required
  • Continually monitors and adjusts to competitive activities within region and maintains an active pulse on the general business climate

You offer

  • A strong sales background with prior experience and credibility selling to decision makers and gatekeepers (> 5 years)
  • A passion for tech products
  • Experience working with growth companies
  • You own and lead and don’t wait and see
  • You have a highly consultative sales background paired with superb communication skills
  • You speak English and German fluently, potentially even more languages
  • Capacity to think and act on both a tactical and strategic level
  • A high level of ambitions balanced with good business judgment and instincts
  • Ability to build strong and continuous partner relationships
  • The capacity to multitask
  • You are able to adapt to changes
  • You communicate clearly and to the point
  • Customer Experience - you build customer confidence, assume responsibility for solving customer problems and ensure commitments to customers are met
  • You have a University degree
