We want to hire an experienced Inhouse Consultant – Business Intelligence Analyst with a strong focus on commercial and market data.

You will focus on using quantitative data to solve business challenges and generate quantitative insights. You will hold the key position of monitoring, managing, manipulating, and drawing insights from data while utilizing a lean tool landscape as a power-user to generate and accumulate the required insights. You will continuously share your knowledge and experience with the teams and decision makers at cyan and ensure the data is properly used and leveraged.


Dashboards, tools & reports:

  •  Responsible for creating and developing in-depth analytical insights about what is going on in our segments, the business and the industry and thus extract implications on our products and business decisions
  • Build, setup and maintain reporting systems and dashboards, utilizing out-of-the-box available tools (CRM, analytics, finance, etc.) to derive performance metrics and insights to support decision making
  • Examine, interpret, and report results of analysis to stakeholders in leadership, financial, commercial, marketing and product teams

Data process ownership & improvement:

  • Own cross-functional processes using business intelligence methodologies and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities
  • Drive automation and continuous process improvements for generating ongoing analyses with speed and accuracy
  • Maintain and setup interfaces with existing and new tools

Subject matter expertise and consulting activities:

  • Become a subject matter expert in various areas of business and data to be able to act as an internal consultant to key stakeholders to identify new opportunities to drive business with data analytics
  • Analyze and optimize performance marketing campaigns (with GTM/monetization teams) to optimize marketing campaigns, and create quantitative value
  • Work with established data service/research providers and detect, understand, and interpret trends and anomalies and thus present them to the individual teams
  • Continually monitor and adjust to competitive activities and market trends in cybersecurity and stay up to speed in the business

Cross team coordination and collaboration

  • Foster a collaborative team environment which empowers the team, encourages open exchange of ideas and out-of-box thinking
  • Collaborate with commercial functions, product owners and top management
  • Explore available technologies to provide business support to our organization and present to internal stakeholders


  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position – digital business is a must
  • Experience in management consulting beneficial
  • Practical experience in state-of-the-art data analysis tools and methodologies
  • Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes
  • Experience with data visualization & reporting tools: e.g., Tableau, Microstrategy, Power BI etc. – including the setup as well as management of such tools
  • First-hand experience with CRM tools (e.g. Pipedrive, Salesforce, etc.) and Market Analytics Platforms (e.g. M-Brain, Gartner)
  • Deep knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and the utilization of MS Office tools in general
  • Ability for simple integration efforts to connect existing and new tools for automated data transfer via out-of-the-box solutions
  • Strong problem solving and hands-on mentality
  • Ability to conceptualize – from raw data to concepts and decision points
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
  • Experience with managing cross functional processes and include relevant stakeholders
  • Ability to translate complex sets of data and insights in a visual and comprehensible way using your presentation skills
  • Enthusiasm about data, innovation, and market trends with creative problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent English communication skills – additional languages are welcome
